Bill Belichick is kicking off his post-NFL media career on the Pat McAfee Show.

The former New England Patriots head coach will co-host a live show at the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit starting at 7:30 p.m. April 25, McAfee and Belichick announced on Wednesday.

This likely won't be the only time NFL fans will be able to hear Belichick's analysis of the league.

McAfee described the event as Belichick's "first live event post-coaching."

"I'm looking forward to it," Belichick said. "Draft day, draft weekend, is always an exciting time for everybody, for the teams that are building their teams, for the fans, for everybody involved in it.

"It's a great event, and I'm looking forward to seeing it from the other side."

We're so INCREDIBLY PUMPED Coach<br><br>"I'm looking forward to it and Draft Weekend is always an exciting time..<br><br>It'll be fun to be with you guys and get your expertise" ~ Bill Belichick <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/PMSLive?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#PMSLive</a> <a href="https://t.co/VnjLzVcuSb">pic.twitter.com/VnjLzVcuSb</a>

Belichick already started weighing in on what he thinks about this year's draft during his first appearance with McAfee.

"Historically, the wide receivers and quarterbacks in the first round are really a 50-50 proposition in the long run," Belichick said. "That's what the stats will tell you... you could have five franchise quarterbacks, or you could end up with none."

The former Patriots coach will now watch his old team make one of those bets as the Patriots gear up to select with the No. 3 pick, which marks the franchise's highest selection since 1993.

Belichick called into the show Wednesday in front of a case containing trophies representing his eight career Super Bowl wins.

The former coach earned six of those with the Patriots during his 24 seasons with the team before the two parted ways in January.

There is still a chance Belichick could return to the NFL after his current foray into the world of football media. Natta, Wickersham and Fowler reported that Belichick hopes to return to a head coaching position next January.
